Cotino

Cotino is a landmark 618-acre master-planned community located in Rancho Mirage, California, in the heart of the Greater Palm Springs and Coachella Valley region.

EDC, through EC Rancho Mirage Holdings, is part of the ownership and development group behind the project, collaborating with DMB Development and Disney to deliver the first Storyliving by Disney community.

Phase 1 is now under construction, with initial residences completed and the community welcoming its first homeowners.

At full buildout, Cotino is planned to include approximately 1,900 residences, offering a range of housing types for residents of all ages together with a dedicated 55+ neighbourhood. The community is centred around Cotino Bay, an approximately 24-acre recreational lagoon featuring Crystal Lagoons technology.

Cotino will also include an extensive range of community amenities, parks and open spaces, together with the Artisan Club, a private club for residents offering dining, wellness, recreation and waterfront amenities.

A significant mixed-use district known as Cotino Bay Beach, Dining and Shops will introduce restaurants, retail, entertainment and public access to the waterfront, further establishing Cotino as a destination within the broader Coachella Valley.

The project represents one of EDC’s largest U.S. investments and reflects the company’s ability to identify, acquire, entitle and execute complex, large-scale development opportunities in collaboration with leading institutional and global brands.
